Irrigation System Extension Install (Parlier, Ca) Description This is a Pre-Solicitation notice only. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires that all labor, supervision, tools, and materials be provided for a research field requiring a new irrigation system. The field currently lacks a source connection to build a new flood irrigation system. A new connection is required to extend the water source to the new field, in addition to building and installing the new flood system to support irrigation to the research field plots. See attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The project is located at USDA, ARS, San Joaquin Valley Agricultural Sciences Center, 9611 S Riverbend Ave Parlier, CA 93648. The qualifying NAICS code for this requirement is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The solicitation is anticipated to be Unrestricted. The Government anticipates issuing the solicitation on or around July 17, 2024. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, and telephone requests will not be honored.
