Overview	Repair Hvac Igloo, B8845, B8844 Description Project 22-0009, Repair HVAC Igloo, B8845, B8844, is located at Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA. This acquisition is anticipated to be issued as a Firm Fixed Price contract with an estimated period of performance of two hundred fifty-seven (257) calendar days; ninety-six (96) for design period and one hundred sixty-one (161) for construction. This project will be solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220 (Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors), size standard $19.0 Million. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) expected in early May 2024 with an estimated thirty (30) day response period. The purpose of this Design-Build project is to replace the existing dehumidifier air handler for the two (2) munitions bunkers (igloos) with a dedicated outside air handler that provides temperature and humidity control. The existing desiccant dehumidifier air handler has failed. The Contractor shall provide Types A and B Architect-Engineer Services to prepare and complete construction documents consisting of design analysis, contract drawings, and technical specifications. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to install, construct, and complete the work planned in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. There is no Government Furnished Property supplied for this project. There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation, the correct time and location will be included in the solicitation.
