Work has not been conducted previously and is a new project at the McKay Dam. This project is to remove the existing shingle roof system and replace it with a new asphalt shingle roof system according to local building codes. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the roof repairs and replacement as described in this Statement of Work which include:¿ Remove the existing roofing, including any underlayment, clean the area, and haul away all debris.¿ Install ice and water shield on all drip edges and synthetic underlayment on the remainder of the roof.¿ Install edge metal, flashing, pipe flashing, and static roof vents as required to provide a complete, leak-free roof system.¿ Install a shingle roof system of any brand that meets the following minimum specifications:o o Style: Architecturalo o ASTM D3161 Class F for wind (110 mph)o o UL2218 Class 4 for impacto o ASTM E108 Class A fire rating¿ The Contractor is responsible for providing complete repairs and installing any fasteners or other material not detailed in this Statement of Work to provide a complete, leak-proof roof system.¿ Install all components in accordance with Manufacturer¿s instructions.¿ All demolished materials are property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the site and disposed of at the Contractor¿s expense.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this project is 238160 Roofing Contractors.
