All government contractors must be registered in SAM.gov in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in this system will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award. The Hilfiker mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall at the Land Port of Entry in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, has distress in the form of bulging welded wire baskets, vertical and horizontal displacement of the concrete on top of the wall, and an outward lean of the walls has been noted in the Hilfiker wall system for several years. This project will address the bulging wire baskets and outward lean of the wall as well as correct poor drainage that has contributed to the wall-s movement. The project will construct a new earth retention soil nail wall and re-slope the concrete parking area above the Hilfiker wall, fortifying the wall and protecting it from continued corrosion. The ...
