Crypto Modernization 2 (CM2) Design Plan and Integration for RT-2036(C) ARC-210 Radio Description The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0042121G0005 to Collins Aerospace, 400 Collins Rd., NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 to provide Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA-209) with developing an Engineering Design approach plan and perform tasking to integrate a CM2 and Positive Access Control (PAC) capabilities for the Gen6 Operational Flight Program (OFP) and Crypto Sub-Systems (CSS) software. Also included are options to (1) enable and reuse the Gen6 auxiliary receiver and (2) develop a Link-22 Electronic Protection Mode (EPM) capability overlay to be loaded into the Gen6 radio. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The AN ARC-210(V) electronic protection (EP) radio systems and associated support equipment have been determined to be commercial products and CA will not provide or sell the technical data necessary to procure the items competitively or provide support for these products. Therefore, CA is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
