Cooks and Kitchen Personnel Support Services Description 1. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The 177FW, New Jersey Air National requires support services for Cooks Preps and Kitchen personnel in accordance with Attachment 2 - Performance Work Statement. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business (SB) with a NAICS code of 722310, with a size standard of $47.0M. 2. This notice is issued under the Short of Award Authority - FAR 52.232-18 Availability of funds. 3. Submission of Quote Package. Please refer to Attachment 4 - Instructions to Offerors. 4. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors (except clarifications as described in FAR 15.306(a)). The Government reserves the right to create or not to create a competitive range. If the Contracting Officer determines that the number of proposals that would otherwise be in the competitive range exceeds the number at which an efficient competition can be conducted, the Contracting Officer may limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals. 7.
