Procurement of confidential document translation services for the Immigration Office The Immigration Office will acquire the necessary confidential document translation services through this tender. Confidential documents refer to texts that contain confidential information. The Finnish Immigration Service procures language translation services for the largest groups of applicants. The language selection varies according to the mother tongue of the Immigration Office's clients, mainly those applying for asylum or a residence permit. The requirements of the security agreement must be followed when handling confidential translated documents. The translation work is carried out in the premises designated by the Client in Pasila, Helsinki. Translation work is done between 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. The time of placing each order is agreed upon separately at the time of ordering. The information on the quantities of documents to be translated in the tender request are estimates. The customer is therefore not committed to the presented quantities and translations are ordered during the contract period always according to the current need. Possible providers of services are companies offering translation services, regardless of their corporate form, other entities and natural persons (for example, a translator working as a private entrepreneur can use a business name if he wishes). Entities providing services can also offer services in accordance with the description of the object of procurement as a group. The object of acquisition is divided into language pairs (1-32). The object of the procurement and the related requirements are described in detail in the request for tenders and in the appendices. The estimated maximum value of the acquisition is 8,000 translation pages.
