Application for the parking token system for carpooling companies Open application procedure for the introduction of parking tokens for carpooling companies in the City of Helsinki. The City of Helsinki has introduced a parking token for carpooling companies in 2014. The token allows parking in all zones of the inner city for residents and businesses, and in addition, without a parking fee or time limit, in paid parking lots and parking disc spaces owned or managed by the city in the City of Helsinki area, if their time limit is more than 60 minutes. The zones are shown on the map in Appendix 3. In addition, there are approximately 90 parking spaces in Helsinki reserved exclusively for carpooling companies.
