NINO INVITATION TO BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CACA WATER SYSTEM 1. The Municipal Government of Sto. Nino through the Bids & Awards Committee intends to apply the sum NINE HUNDRED NINETY SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FORTY NINE PESOS and 62/100 ONLY (PhP996,149.62) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the CONSTRUCTION OF CACA WATER SYSTEM located at Abariongan Uneg, Sto. Nino, Cagayan from the 20% Municipal Development Fund (2024). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Municipal Government of Sto. Nino now invites bids for the above mentioned description of works. Completion of Works is required Twenty Five (25) calendar days. Bidders should have completed at least one (1) contract that is similar to this project/s, equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II. Instruction to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act of 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as “Government Procurement Reform Act”. 4. Contractors who are interested are required to conduct site inspection at the address stated above. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of One Thousand Pesos Only (PhP1,000.00). Bidders can make payments for the purchase of the Bidding Documents at the Office of the Municipal Treasurer. The procurement activities are shown below: PROCUREMENT ACTIVITY DATE / TIME 1. BID SECURING DECLARATION as provided in the section 27.5 of the Revised IRR of R.A. 9184, “OR” 2.) SURETY BOND callable upon demand issued by a surety or insurance company duly certified by the Insurance Commission as authorized to issue such security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the ABC, pursuant to Department Memorandum Circular No. 15, Series of 2014.
