The Municipality of Moises Padilla through the allocation from its 20% Dev’t. Fund, intends to apply the sum of PHP 1,065,000.00 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Purchase of Goods (Food and Non-Food items for early recovery of the IDPs and prepositioning of FNFI for IDPs possibly affected by weather disturbance and Mt. Kanlaon eruption), Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at the bid opening. 2. The Municipality now invites bids for the delivery of goods for this project located at this Municipality. Completion of works is twenty (20) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bidders should have completed within two (2) years a SLCC that is similar to the project to be bid equivalent to at least 50% of the ABC. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”. 1. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Municipality and inspect the bidding documents at the Office of the BAC from 8:00am - 5:00p.m. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on October 25 – November 14, 2024 from the BAC Secretariat upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the bidding documents in the amount of PHP PHP 5,000.00. Pre-bid conference is on November 4, 2024, 10:00am at the BAC Office. 4. Bids must be delivered to the Municipality on or before November 14, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and at the amount stated in section 27.2 of the revised IRR of R.A. 9184 or BSD. Bid opening shall be on November 14, 2024, 10:00 A.M.at the Office of the BAC. Bids will be open in the presence of the Bidders Representative who choose to attend at the Office, and late Bids shall not be accepted. 5. The Municipality reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liabilities to the affected bidder or bidders. 6.
