Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding documents, particularly in section II instruction to bidders 3.Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedure using non discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules& regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184(RA 9184) otherwise known as Government procurement reform act. (1).Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizen/ sole proprietorship ,partnership, or organizations with at least 60% Interest or Outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA 5183 and subject to Commonwealth ACT 138 4.Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the barangay government of Bagong Pook and inspect bidding documents at the given address below during 8:00am -01:00 pm A complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased by interested Bidders on October 15, 2024 to October 24, 2024 from the address below and upon payment a non- refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of 500.00 The Barangay Government will not hold Pre Bid Conference all interested suppliers may join the public bidding for the project 5.Bids must be delivered to the address below on 0r before October 24, 2024 at 01:00pm the barangay hall. The barangay government reserves the right to reject any all bids, declare failure of bidding or not award the contract in the following situations: A. If there is prima facie evidence of collusion between appropriate public officer or employees in the procuring entity between the BAC and any of the bidders or if the collusion is between or among the bidders themselves and a third party including any act which restricts suppresses and nullify completion B. If the Bac found to have failed following the prescribed bidding procedure C. For any justifiable and reasonable ground where the award of the contract will not redound to the benefit of GOP follows: if the physical and economic condition have significantly, financially or technically feasible as determined by the head of procuring entity (ii) if the project is no longer necessary as determined by the head procuring entity (iii) if the source of fund for the project has been withheld or reduced through no fault of the procuring entity 10.
